A Loops alternative that writes your emails for you

Loops sends the emails you write. Kicklace reads your site and product, writes your lifecycle emails in your voice, and is free up to 1,000 contacts.

The short answer

Loops is a good email tool for SaaS companies that know what they want to send and want to write it themselves. Kicklace is for founders who would rather not write it at all: it reads your website, works out the stages your customers go through, and writes the emails for each stage in your voice. You read them, change what you like, and switch them on.

If you enjoy writing your own campaigns, Loops is a fine choice. If the emails never get written because you are busy building, Kicklace is the one that writes them.

Where Loops is the better pick

  • You want to design every email by hand. Loops is built around writing and designing campaigns and workflows yourself.
  • You want an established tool. Loops has been built for SaaS teams for longer than Kicklace has.
  • Transactional email in the same place. Loops sends transactional email beside marketing email, and as of October 2026 its free plan counts both toward one limit.

Where Kicklace is different

  • It writes the first draft of everything. Paste your website's address and Kicklace reads what you sell, then writes your welcome, your nudge for people who signed up and stalled, and the rest, in your voice. See it on your own site in the demo, with no sign-up.
  • One map of your customers. Every person sits on a Lifecycle map at the stage they actually reached: signed up, activated, paying. Each stage carries its emails, so you can see what goes out and to whom.
  • Nothing to set up before your first send. Until you verify your own domain, Kicklace sends with your name on it from its own address, up to 50 a day. No DNS records on day one.
  • It hears your stack. Sign-ups from Clerk or Kinde, payments from Stripe, deploys from Vercel, or one line from your own server with the kicklace package.
  • Nothing sends until you switch it on, and before you do, Kicklace shows who would have got it over the last 30 days.

Price

As of October 2026, Loops' free plan covers up to 1,000 contacts and 4,000 sends in any 30 days, marketing and transactional together, with Loops branding at the bottom of each email. Paid plans start with Growth at $49 a month and are billed by subscribed contacts.

Kicklace is free up to 1,000 contacts, sending from its own address with your name on it. Your own domain is part of Starter, $25 a month. The details are on pricing.

Which one to pick

Pick Loops if you like writing and designing your own emails and want a mature tool for it. Pick Kicklace if you want the lifecycle emails your product should already be sending, written for you from what your site and product say, so you can get back to building.

FAQ

Can I move from Loops to Kicklace?

Yes. Bring your people across as a list with the words they agreed to, and connect the tools you already use. Moving from another CRM has the steps.

Do I need to write any code?

No. One script tag on your site is enough to start, and Stripe, Clerk and Vercel connect without code. If you want to say what people do in your app, the kicklace package is one line from your server.
