An Encharge alternative that writes your emails for you

Encharge is marketing automation for SaaS, built flow by flow. Kicklace reads your site and writes your lifecycle emails for you, free up to 1,000 contacts.

The short answer

Encharge is marketing automation for SaaS and product-led companies. You build flows on a canvas, and it sends emails based on what people do or do not do in your product. Kicklace sends the same kind of email, but starts from the other end: it reads your website, works out the stages your customers go through, and writes the emails for each stage in your voice. You read them, change what you like, and switch them on.

If you want to design your own flows step by step, Encharge is a good choice. If the flows never get built because you are busy building the product, Kicklace is the one that writes them.

Where Encharge is the better pick

  • A flow builder you control. As of October 2026, Encharge describes a visual flow builder made of triggers that start a flow, actions that send emails or tag people, and filters that branch people by conditions. If you know the exact journey you want, you can draw it.
  • Behavior emails from your own events. Encharge says behavior emails can be triggered through its API or its native Segment integration.
  • More named integrations. Its site names Stripe, Segment, HubSpot, Salesforce and Intercom among the tools it connects to. If your team already lives in HubSpot or Salesforce, that matters.
  • Built around the flow. Everything in it is organized around flows you build and tune, which is the point if you like that work.

Where Kicklace is different

  • It writes the first draft of everything. Paste your site's address and Kicklace reads what you sell, then writes your welcome, your nudge for people who signed up and stalled, and the rest, in your voice. See it on your own site in the demo, with no sign-up, or read how AI-written email sequences work and what to check before you send.
  • One map instead of many flows. Every person sits on a Lifecycle map at the stage they actually reached: signed up, activated, paying, or your own stages. Where someone stands is worked out from what they did, never set by hand, and each stage carries its emails.
  • Nothing sends until you switch it on. Before you do, Kicklace shows who would have got it over the last 30 days.
  • Nothing to set up before your first send. Until you verify your own domain, Kicklace sends with your name on it from its own address, up to 50 a day. No DNS records on day one.
  • It hears your stack. Sign-ups from Clerk or Kinde, payments from Stripe, deploys from Vercel, or one line from your own server with the kicklace package. Your product's events move people along the map, and the events page lists what each one does.

Price

Encharge's plans are called Growth, Premium and Enterprise, and its price goes up with the number of people in your account. It changes its prices from time to time, so read the current figures on its pricing page before you compare.

Kicklace is free up to 1,000 contacts, sending from its own address with your name on it. Your own domain is part of Starter, $25 a month. The details are on pricing.

Which one to pick

Pick Encharge if you want to build and tune your own flows, or you need its integrations with the sales tools you already use. Pick Kicklace if you want the lifecycle emails your product should already be sending, written for you from what your site and product say, so you can get back to building. FAQ

Can I move from Encharge to Kicklace?

If you can export your people as a CSV file, yes. Bring it in under Your people. They come in as contacts, and nothing sends because of the import. Moving from another CRM has the steps. Then connect Stripe, Clerk or your own server so people move along the map as they sign up and pay.

Does Kicklace send emails based on what people do in my product?

Yes. Your server says what a person did with one line, using the kicklace package, and that moves them to the stage it belongs to. The stage's sequence starts when they arrive, or after they have been there a number of days.

Do I need to write any code?

No. One script tag on your site is enough to start, and Stripe, Clerk and Vercel connect without code.
