Privacy policy.

What Kicklace stores, for how long, who can see it, and how to get a copy or delete it.

Workspace data: A workspace holds the records its owner adds: people and accounts, their fields, the timeline of what happened, the lists they subscribed to with the exact wording they agreed to, and the emails Kicklace sent them. Where a workspace's own website is connected, Kicklace also reads its public pages, never a login page or anything behind one, to say what changed for a visitor. Workspace data belongs to that workspace. Kicklace does not sell it or use it for anything else, and one workspace can never see another.
This website: One anonymous ID stored in your browser (localStorage, no cookies, no fingerprinting) to count visits, the pages you open, and how you arrived: a referrer or a campaign parameter, if there is one. On each page it also notes how long the page is in front of you, how far down you read, and where you click: the words on what you clicked, never anything you type, and no screen recording. Your country is read from the connection, and your IP address is not kept with it. That becomes an anonymous record in Kicklace's own workspace, and page reads are kept 90 days. If you open the demo, the company name and kind you chose, whether you left an email, the screens you open, how often you use Ask, and the website address you try are kept with it for the same time, never what you ask or anything else you type. Nothing is sold and nothing is shared with advertising networks.

Inside the app: Which screens of Kicklace a member opens and how long each is in front of them, and the steps a workspace has finished, so Kicklace can see where setting up gets hard and help. Never anything about the workspace's own customers, nothing from the address of a page, and nothing anyone types. Screen visits are kept 90 days.
The follow-up check: The website address you type and what its public pages show: the business's name, the ways to get in touch, and any promise about answering. It reads public pages only, never anything behind a login. The site's title and description go to the AI model that writes the first reply. What it found is kept for 30 days, so a site is read at most once a day, and nothing about you is kept with it.
Dev partner applications: Your name, email address, your product's address, what it runs on, what you wrote, the time, and the IP address it was sent from. Applying subscribes you to one list, Dev partners, and the sentence you agreed to is shown on the form and stored word for word. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. If it is approved, we send a single-use link. It stops working once it is used or after 14 days, and only its hash is stored, never the link itself.
Retention: Each workspace chooses how long to keep anonymous visitors. Everything else is kept until the workspace deletes it or closes. Dev partner applications are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Who can see it: The members of that workspace. Kicklace's own people see inside only while the workspace lets them in, an hour at a time, from its setup. No one else has access.
Export and deletion: Every record has an Export button that downloads everything stored about that person as one file, and a Delete button that removes the record and everything linked to it. If they had unsubscribed, marked an email as spam or their address bounced, only a one-way hash of the address is kept, so they are never added back to a list. Third-party services: Vercel hosts the app, Neon hosts the database, and Resend delivers email, and Stripe takes payments. Google runs the AI model. When you ask Kicklace something, or it writes or fills in an email, the model receives what that needs from your workspace: the people and companies it is about, what they did, and the words involved. Researching your market sends only a public description of your own product. Kicklace reads how its own advice performed to improve it, and across accounts it reads only counts, never one customer’s people, names or words. Kicklace trains no AI model on what you put in it. No advertising networks.
